This policy governs the purchase of Ovonic LiPo batteries and accessories from Ampow.com. By placing an order, the customer acknowledges and agrees to the terms regarding warranty scope, liability limitations, and dispute resolution procedures defined below.
1. Warranty Coverage & Duration
Standard Warranty: 6 Months (180 Days)
Our warranty covers manufacturing defects (e.g., dead cells, bad soldering, BMS failure) starting from the date of delivery as recorded by the logistics carrier.

DOA (Dead on Arrival): Must be reported within 7 days of delivery with voltage evidence. Ovonic will provide a free replacement or full refund including shipping.

Non-Transferable: Warranty applies only to the original purchaser with a valid Order ID from Ampow.com.
2. Critical Exclusions (Technical Liability)
Due to the chemical nature of Lithium Polymer (LiPo) batteries, Ovonic strictly distinguishes between manufacturing defects and user-induced damage. Claims will be rejected under the following conditions:

Over-Discharge Negligence: Any cell returned with voltage below 3.0V. This indicates the battery was drained beyond safe limits, causing irreversible chemical damage.

Over-Charge / Improper Storage: Puffing (swelling) caused by storing fully charged batteries (>4.2V/cell) for extended periods.

Crash & Impact Damage: Physical deformation, punctures, or crushed corners resulting from RC vehicle crashes or drops.

Connector Modification: Soldering alternative connectors (e.g., changing XT60 to EC5) without professional tools, resulting in short circuits.
3. Returns, Refunds & PayPal Dispute Guidelines
To ensure fair transaction processing and compliance with PayPal Seller Protection policies:
A. Return Shipping Costs

Defective Items: Ampow.com bears the return shipping cost for confirmed manufacturing defects.

"Change of Mind" / Non-Defective Returns: Customers are responsible for return shipping costs. A 15% Restocking Fee applies to non-defective returns to cover inspection and repackaging.
B. Item Not Received (INR) Claims
We ship to the address provided in the PayPal transaction details. Once the carrier marks the package as "Delivered," the order is considered fulfilled. We are not liable for porch theft after confirmed delivery.
C. Condition of Returns
Returned items must be in original, unused condition with warranty seals intact. Batteries that have been cycled, soldered, or Velcro-mounted are considered "Used" and cannot be returned for a refund unless functionally defective.
4. Mandatory Claim Evidence (Anti-Fraud Protocol)
To prevent fraudulent claims, all warranty requests must include technical telemetry data. Generic claims of "it doesn't work" will be paused pending data submission.
REQUIRED DATA FOR CLAIM APPROVAL:
1. Order ID & Batch Code (Printed on battery)
2. Photo of the battery showing no physical impact damage
3. Voltage Reading Video: Use a Cell Checker/Multimeter to show voltage of EACH cell (e.g., Cell 1: 0.0V, Cell 2: 3.8V).
4. Internal Resistance (IR) readings (if available)
5. Limitation of Liability
Safety Warning: LiPo batteries are volatile. Ovonic/Ampow shall not be liable for any special, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages (including but not limited to: damage to RC models, loss of property, or fire damage) arising from the use or misuse of the product. The user assumes all risks associated with LiPo chemistry.
