Currently I own 6 Ovonic batteries and have flown them many times. They work great without any issues. Ovonic is a valuable RC lipo battery company.

You'll have to use the velcro strap that came with the truck but, fits pretty snug in the battery compartment. Took it out for a bit to see how this one compares to the stock batteries hooked in parallel (Hosim also provided dual deans T connector with the 'Judge'). The Judge comes with two 1600mAH + hooked in parallel = 2S(ish) and ~3200mAH. Not bad, but this 4600mAH packs a HARD punch to the Judge! Full runtime is ~45 - 60min -- in 'high' mode with full throttling for most of the rip, maybe around 35 - 40min?

2S really wakes this truck up! I would be interested to see how a 3S lipo performs, but don't want to burn anything up. I see the stock ESC is only a 60A - pretty sure that Hosim makes a beefier ESC for the other brushless trucks - but then would have to change out the motor as well. Not really looking to put a lot into this one - want to keep it stock as much as possible - minus the tires. And battery..

Nice hard case around the lipo cells - IF it were to come out of the securing velcro, I think this would survive pretty well. Does add a little more weight to the truck - so might have to put in some spring tensioners for the shocks / stiffer springs.

Absolutely a solid 10/10!!

PS - DOES NOT come with a charger!! Would highly recommend a nicer higher-end balance charger - this uses the normal 3-wire balance charger input. DO NOT CHARGE THIS BATTERY WITHOUT A BALANCING CHARGER!! Failure to do so will end in a HORRIBLE flaming, damaging, fume emitting fireball!!

This Ovonic 2S 4600mah hardcase battery is my new favorite power supply for my Vaterra Ascender K10. I can crawl for HOURS on this capacity! Aside from that, the cells always balance nicely and the packaging is all-pro. I also really like the bullet connector style pack - easy to move this battery to other applications that use a different connector.
If you need a quality shorty pack without a huge amount of discharge, this battery will serve you well.

Exactly what I expected. Fit perfect in my Team Associated. Great run time and couldn't ask for more
